Jean-Jacques
The friend
Last night you were at the Smiths' house. There was a gun in your personal belongings, an object that could have a bad effect on your reputation (you always carry it with you).

You woke up in the night to a hysterical scream and ran out into the corridor: Ludwig and Anthony were standing next to Barbara by the bed at the scene of the crime. As an avid and experienced hunter, you looked at the wounds - the shot was clearly made by a non-professional (or a person who wants to make himself look like one).

During the time you worked with Henry, you happened to see Eric's work with your own eyes. The bullet went through his liver, the man was lying on the floor bleeding to death, and he just rolled up the car window and drove away without even checking the victim. All of Eric's shots were fatal.

  • You couldn't forgive Henry, so you reacted very coldly to your daughter's invitation to come over, but Letitia persuaded you to spend the night at the mansion. At this point, you find her behaviour very suspicious. Letizia has often complained about her husband's lack of character - several times she has even threatened to end Henry's total interference in their family. Over the past few months, your daughter has become more distant from you. Confidential conversations were followed by indifference on Letizia's part.
  • It is likely that the crime was planned in advance and is unlikely to have been carried out by one person. Barbara, who allegedly accidentally left the room on the night of the murder, looks great in this tandem.
  • Of all the people present, Catherine is the one you suspect the least. This country bumpkin has hardly ever held a gun in her hands. But her mother…
  • Henry seemed to be losing his mind lately. A lawyer you know, who used to work for the victim, was constantly complaining about the endless rewriting of property and will documents. Apparently, Henry was suspicious of someone, and for a good reason.
